Laurel Bernstein, PhD is OmniAb’s Vice President of Intellectual Property. Dr. Bernstein joined the OmniAb team in November of 2022 from Ligand Pharmaceuticals where she previously served as Director of Patents starting in 2018. Prior to Ligand, she served as Executive Director of Intellectual Property at Lpath, Inc. and Executive Director of Patents at Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Bernstein earned a BA in Biology from University of Virginia and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from Brown University.
